Treatment: Fixed therapy
Time: 15 months
Lingual Pearl: 8 months before finishing treatment and 2 months after - swallowing and speech therapy
Retention: thermoformed splint (upper 3 - 3) and lower bonded (3 - 3)
Note: cases of patients with infantile deglutition and speech deficiency have great possibilities to relapse. To achieve good stability at the end of the treatment, the education of tongue trust should be an integrated part of orthodontic treatment.
